The influence of Y2O3 with different proportions on the structure, mechanical properties and thermal conductivity of the composite materials will be investigated. Techniques such as field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and energy dispersive spectrometer (EDS) will be used to observe and analyze the materials, understand the changes of the structure with Y2O3 modification. Mechanical properties, including hardness, tensile strength, compression strength, and fracture toughness, of the TiAl2O3 composite with Y2O3 will be tested and investigated, to understand the influence of Y2O3 on the mechanical properties of the material. Meanwhile, the effect of Y2O3 on the thermal conductivity of TiAl2O3 composite material will be studied, and the changes of thermal conductivity, thermal conductivity coefficient, and thermal expansion coefficient of the composite material with Y2O3 incorporation will be evaluated.Keywords: TiAl2O3, Y2O3, composite material, mechanical properties, thermal conductivity
