SEM, TEM, and tensile testing were used to analyze and test the materials. The results show that the addition of an appropriate amount of Y element can effectively improve the strength and ductility of AZ31 magnesium alloy and reduce the deformation temperature of the material.Keywords: AZ31 alloy; Y element; microstructure; mechanical properties
