They have been widely used in various fields, such as optical communication, photocatalysis, and optoelectronics.(Background)The luminescence properties of ZnO-Al2O3-SiO2 glass and glass-ceramics are closely related to their composition, structure, and preparation process. The addition of ZnO can effectively improve the luminescence properties of the glass and glass-ceramics. Al2O3 can enhance the thermal stability, mechanical strength, and chemical durability of the glass and glass-ceramics. SiO2 is the main component of the glass and can provide the skeleton structure for the glass and glass-ceramics.(Objectives)The main objectives of this study are to prepare ZnO-Al2O3-SiO2 glass and glass-ceramics by a sol-gel method, investigate the effect of ZnO and Al2O3 content on the microstructure and luminescence properties of the glass and glass-ceramics, and explore the mechanism of luminescence.(Methodology)The ZnO-Al2O3-SiO2 glass and glass-ceramics will be prepared by a sol-gel method. The glass samples will be annealed at different temperatures to obtain the glass-ceramics. The microstructure and luminescence properties of the samples will be characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and photoluminescence spectroscopy (PL). The mechanism of luminescence will be discussed based on the obtained results.(Expected Results)It is expected that the ZnO-Al2O3-SiO2 glass and glass-ceramics prepared in this study will 精品文档---下载后可任意编辑exhibit strong luminescence properties, and the luminescence intensity will be positively correlated with the ZnO content. The addition of Al2O3 will increase the mechanical strength and chemical durability of the glass and glass-ceramics, while maintaining the luminescence properties. The mechanism of luminescence will be proposed based on the experimental results.(Conclusion)The study on the preparation and luminescence properties of ZnO-Al2O3-SiO2 glass and glass-ceramics will provide useful information for the development of luminescent materials and devices in the fields of optoelectronics, optical communication, and photocatalysis.
