First, we will conduct fieldwork in Yunnan province to collect primary data through observations, interviews, and recordings of musical performances and dance practices. We will also gather secondary data from existing literature on Yunnan Tibetan and other ethnic groups and related studies on music and dance imagery.The collected data will be analyzed using a content analysis approach to identify common themes and patterns related to the music and dance imagery of the ethnic groups. Visual analysis will also be employed to analyze the visual elements in dance performances and the use of musical instruments.Expected Outcomes:The study aims to contribute to the understanding of the music and dance imagery of Yunnan Tibetan and other ethnic groups. The research findings will provide insights into the cultural significance of music and dance in these ethnic communities as well as identify the similarities and differences between different ethnic groups.
