However, traditional converters have inherently lossy power factors, resulting in distortion of current and voltage in the power grid system. In this study, a converter with lossless power factor correction function was developed to effectively solve the problem of power quality in the power grid system.This paper first introduces the technical background and research significance of the converter, and analyzes the problems existing in the existing converters. Then, the design principle and structure of the lossless power factor correction converter are elaborated in detail, including its basic structure, control strategy and control algorithm. For the engineering implementation of the design, the control system and hardware circuit of the converter were carefully designed, and simulation and evaluation were carried out.
