As a new type of motor, three-phase permanent magnet fault-tolerant motor has unique advantages in energy consumption, efficiency and dynamic response, and has gradually been applied in various fields.This thesis aims to carry out in-depth structural design and research on three-phase permanent magnet fault-tolerant motor. Based on the introduction of the structure and working principle of the three-phase permanent magnet fault-tolerant motor, the fault-tolerant mechanism is detailed. Then, this thesis researches the structure design of the motor from the perspectives of the design of the stator part, rotor part, electromagnetic field simulation, and verifies its performance through experiments.
