In order to meet the needs of large-scale high-speed data transmission and rapid growth of user devices, LTE technology faces huge challenges and difficulties in the uplink transmission. This paper will conduct research from the following aspects: 1. the development status and trend of LTE technology; 2. the physical layer technology difficulties of uplink transmission in LTE; 3. the necessity and significance of research on key technologies for uplink transmission in LTE; 4. the research direction and feasibility analysis of key technologies for uplink transmission in LTE.
