Through laboratory simulation soil experiments, using common organic materials such as organic fertilizers, straw, cotton stalks, and tree leaves to form different combinations, we observed the decomposition rate and decomposition products of different combinations, as well as the effects of decomposition on soil biochemical properties. The results show that there are significant differences in material decomposition rates and product types among different organic material combinations, with the combination of organic fertilizers and straw being the most easily decomposed and containing the most decomposition products. At the same time, there is a certain correlation between the changes in material decomposition and soil biochemical properties of different combinations. For example, the combination of organic fertilizers and straw can significantly improve biochemical indicators such as soil organic matter and microbial biomass. Therefore, this study has certain practical significance for optimizing the use of organic materials and improving soil ecosystem functions.Keywords: organic material combination; material decomposition; soil biochemical properties; optimized use
