Therefore, in the design and management of building structures, the standards and requirements for seismic safety are also becoming higher and higher, which has become a very important issue. This paper takes the reinforced concrete frame structure as the research object, explores its seismic safety performance through the energy seismic response analysis method, and optimizes its structural design and strengthening measures.Firstly, this paper introduces the basic concepts, construction characteristics, and working principles of the reinforced concrete frame structure, and analyzes in detail its stress, deformation, and failure modes in earthquakes. Secondly, this paper introduces the energy seismic response analysis method and the basic principles, including the dynamics of the structure, seismic wave input, and structural response calculation, and illustrates its application process and advantages with examples. Finally, this paper analyzes and evaluates a specific reinforced concrete frame structure, proposes corresponding structural reinforcement schemes and optimization design suggestions based on the energy seismic response analysis method, and further improves its seismic safety.Keywords: reinforced concrete frame structure; energy seismic response analysis; seismic safety performance; structural strengthening
