However, the greenstone connected zone on the right bank dam shoulder poses certain challenges to the safety and stability of the project. This paper aims to explore the characteristics of the greenstone connected zone on the right bank dam shoulder of Jinping First Hydropower Station, and further analyze its anti-sliding stability issues, to provide reference for engineering construction.This paper first introduces the basic characteristics of greenstone and geological characteristics of the engineering, analyzes the reasons for the formation and the development trend of the greenstone connected zone on the right bank dam shoulder. Then, based on existing literature and field investigations, this paper describes the characteristics of the connected zone in detail and preforms a preliminary analysis of its anti-sliding stability issues.
