The aim of this study is to clone and express the mandarin fish transferrin-like gene and analyze its function. Through sequence analysis and alignment, a set of specific primers were selected to amplify the mandarin fish transferrin-like gene by PCR, and the cloned product was verified by restriction enzyme digestion. The cloned product was ligated into the expression vector pET41a (+) and transformed into Escherichia coli BL21 (DE3) for high-efficiency expression.
