Based on the design and experimental research of high-power double-clad fiber laser, this paper explores its applications in laser cutting, laser welding, laser deep hole processing and other fields.Firstly, the structure and preparation method of high-power double-clad fiber are introduced, as well as its difference from traditional fiber. Then, the working principle and performance indicators of high-power double-clad fiber laser are elaborated, and its optical characteristics under different application scenarios are derived.Secondly, for the application fields of laser cutting, laser welding and laser deep hole processing, the advantages and applicability of high-power double-clad fiber laser are discussed, and specific experimental data and application cases are given.
