In this study, high-performance liquid chromatography-fluorescence detection was used to investigate the pharmacokinetics and tissue distribution of adefovir prodrug. A total of 18 SD rats were orally administered with adefovir prodrug and blood and tissue samples were collected at different time points. The drug concentrations were determined using high-performance liquid chromatography-fluorescence detection. The results showed that the adefovir prodrug had good tissue distribution properties, with higher concentrations in liver, kidney, spleen, and heart, and lower concentrations in muscle and fat tissues. The pharmacokinetic parameters showed that the adefovir prodrug had a fast clearance rate and a short half-life in SD rats. These findings provide a valuable reference for understanding the pharmacokinetics and tissue distribution of adefovir prodrug.Keywords: Adefovir prodrug, high-performance liquid chromatography-fluorescence detection, pharmacokinetics, tissue distribution
