To address these issues, this study proposes an indicator-based evaluation method to more accurately measure the innovation ability of universities in science and technology. In selecting the evaluation indicators, this study pays special attention to the endogenous driving factors of the innovation ability of universities in science and technology, including the quality of scientific research personnel, the quality of scientific research projects, the equipment of scientific research infrastructure, and the transformation and application of scientific and technological achievements.
