Firewood, rice, oil, salt, sauce, vinegar and tea are seven necessary things in ancient China, and tea is essentially significant for Chinese people. In the modern era of rapid economic development, the emergence of new tea seems to be more in line with the needs of the younger generation. New types of tea are an innovation based on the traditional tea.The method of literature research is adopted in this paper in order to study Chinese tea culture. Through the research, the writer finds that tea drinking originated in the Han Dynasty and tea culture has been formed since Tang Dynasty. Tea drinking prevailed in the Song Dynasty, and the market culture and tea culture influenced each other. During the Ming and Qing Dynasty, tea culture has further development. In the process of development, tea culture has been influenced by the thought of Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism. “Harmony, Tranquility, Joy and Truth” proposed by Mr. Lin Zhi can basically summarize the spirit of Chinese tea ceremony. Tea culture influences people’s marriage customs, sacrifice, reception, literature and arts.The new types of tea evolved from powder milk tea to bubble tea, and then developed into today’s new types of team, which are made of high-quality raw materials with advanced technology.
