阅读是认知活动,是一种综合能力的体现。随着课程改革的逐步推进,阅读教学在教学中占的比重越来越大,然而在实际的教学中还存在一些问题,使得阅读教学达不到预期的教学效果,当然,影响学生阅读能力的因素众多,如语言能力、学习动机、阅读策略、思维迁移以及情感等诸多因素。而文化背景知识则是影响阅读能力的主要因素,由于缺少目的语国家的文化背景知识而产生理解上的错误。外语教学实际上是一种跨文化的交流,语言和文化不可分割正如法国社会学家罗兰.巴特(1984)所言:“无论从哪方面看,文化都离不开语言。” 文化教学是社会发展的需要,在我国传统的英语教学中,教师和学生都过分注重语言形式的学习,忽视文化背景知识在英语学习中的重要性。在教学的过程中,只有通过灵活有效的教学方式和教学策略,才能够改善英语教学中的突出问题,实现高中英语教学的有效性和实践性。本文主要是对于高中英语教学的现状进行分析研究,并在此基础上对于改善高中英语阅读教学提出建议策略,希望促进高中英语教学的质量,同时进一步提高学生的文化意识。关键词;文化背景;高中生;阅读能力;影响AbstractReading is a cognitive activity, and is also the demonstration of comprehensive ability.
