Thank you!AbstractReading accounts for a very large proportion in high school English teaching, so reading plays an important role in English learning. Reading strategy is the vital of learning reading well, but nowadays there are still a large amount of students and teachers not aware of the importance of reading strategy, and there are less systematic surveys about reading strategies. This paper mainly studies about the usage situation of reading strategies in high middle school. Through the questionnaire and literature review, the author summarizes many kinds of the reading strategies and shows shortcomings of the current situation.
