My topic is Unit 1, the second period. I divide my teaching plan into 5 parts.PART 1 Analysis of the teaching material ·STATUS AND FUNCTION This lesson is the second of Unit1. It’s a listening text. In this lesson, Ss can do a better listening practice, they also can master some listening skills, like guessing the words’ meaning, putting the difficult parts away.·TEACHING AIMS AND DEMANGS Knowledge objects·To practise listening for specific information ·To use strategies to predict answers before listening to a text. ·To practice expressing preferences.·To become aware of hesitation techniques.·To learn about ways of dealing with stress in everyday life.·TEACHING KEY POINTS·TEACHING DIFFICULTIES·Students may panic when faced with listening activities. But their English levels are different from student to student. I design the lesson to meet their different requirements eg.
