The + 比较级 + of + the +two… 表示“两个当中较……的一个”e.g. 李明是这两人中更高的一个。Li Ming is the taller of the two. 两个男孩中较高的那个是我的弟弟。The taller of the two boys is my brother.6. 形容词比较等级前一般可用 much, even, a lot, a little, a bit, 等状语修饰，如：1)月亮比太阳小得多。 The moon is much smaller than the sun.2)这本书比那本书厚一点。 The book is a little thicker than that one.7. 形容词比较等级前还可以被表示年龄、倍数等词组修饰。e.g. She is two years older than Mike.
