Afterwards, the tales of Sherlock Holmes became popular all over the world. And meanwhile, and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle gained both fame and wealth for the work. The tales of Sherlock Holmes which were written in Victorian Era has a detailed description of its background of stories—the London in Victorian Era. The readers may need to know the background of this work, in order to get to know the tales of Sherlock Holmes better.
