With an overall length of more than 6,300 kilometers，it runs toward the East China Sea，singing the songs of the four seasons with its waves.The Yangtze River breeds the ancient civilization of the Chinese nation.It has three beautiful，magnificent and wonderful gorges－the Qutang Gorge，the Wu Gorge，and the Xiling Gorge.It attracts thousands of people coming to see the wonder of nature. The Qutang Gorge，eight kilometers long，extends from Baidicheng of Fengjie County to Daxizhen of Wushan County.It is the shortest but the grandest of the three. The 40 kilometer long Wu Gorge follows the Qutang Gorge.It extends from Daninghekou of Wushan County to Guandukou of Hubei's Badong County.Going down the stream ， you'll be attracted by the Twelve Peaks of Wushan Mountain—Denglong，Shengquan，Zhaoyun，Shennv，Songluan，Jixian，Jingtan，Qiyun，Feifeng，Shangsheng，Cuiping and Juhe.
