The related research work unceasingly increased.This article tried to carry on the greatly slightly summary in this aspect research. From the basic question of tourism festival,it look back the notion,the sort, the development history,the active characteristic to the tourism festival and so on.Through the development principle, the movement mechanism and the present situation analysis summary to tourism festival,it carries on the prospect forecast with the activities of tourism festival.Key Words:Tourism Festival; Basic questions; Present situation analysis; Prospect forecast 20 世纪 60 年代，旅游节庆作为一种新的形式旅游在世界大范围内开展。中国从 80年代中期开展旅游节庆活动以来，对旅游节庆活动的研究一直没有中断。旅游节庆活动的研究在国内很活跃，其中结合地方旅游节庆活动的研究尤其多。有关旅游节庆活动的总结性研究的著作也有出现，其中以偏经济性质的居多。旅游节庆活动如火如荼，尤其在国内大做文章，是有其必然性的。在以经济建设为中心的当代，适当合理开发旅游节庆活动，符合时代要求。对旅游节庆活动...
