摘 要近些年,随着液晶技术的发展,基于液晶的显示器件在各领域均得到了广泛应用。其中,扭曲型向列式液晶因其独特的旋光特性,在众多的显示应用与开发中起着非常重要的作用。但是,针对扭曲型向列式液晶的旋光特性,尚缺乏一个简单有效的研究手段,以及深入研究分析液晶的各因素对最终旋光特性的影响,这就一定程度上限制了扭曲型向列式液晶的发展与应用。本文通过基于时域有限差分方法的电磁场模拟,详细分析了扭曲型向列式液晶的旋光特性及主要因素的最终特性的影响规律,并在此基础上分析了超扭曲向列式液晶的优势。本文的结果将有利于加深对液晶的光学特性,尤其是扭曲型向列式液晶的旋光特性的理解,对扭曲型向列式液晶在实际生活中的应用具有一定的理论指导意义。关键词 扭曲型向列式液晶,液晶的旋光性,时域有限差分1 ABSTRACTIn recent years, with the development of LCD technology, crystal display based on the liquid device has been widely used in various fields. Among them, due to the unique optical properties of the twisted nematic type liquid crystal, it shows a very important role in numerous of applications and developments. However, in view of the optical characteristics of twisted nematic type liquid crystal, which is lack of a simple and effective means of research, and in-depth research and analysis of various factors on the final optical characteristics of liquid crystal. It limits the development and application of twisted nematic type LCD to some extent.In term of electromagnetic field simulation which based on finite difference time domain method, the optical characteristics of twisted nematic type LCD and final characteristics of the main factors of influence have been analyzed.
