However, the existing RDC warehouse generally remains unchanged after the warehouse is built. The operation efficiency of the warehouse will decrease with the change of demand. When the demand changes, it will still operate in the old operation mode, which will result in unreasonable resource allocation, low equipment utilization and high storage cost. The purpose of this design is to optimize the efficiency of the existing RDC warehouse and restore or even exceed the original level. Using the simulation software Flexsim, we can simulate the warehousing operation process of e-commerce logistics through simulation, and study the results of the existing system and model operation, which will improve the warehousing both in terms of links and layout.This design first introduces the theory of e-commerce logistics and Flexsim technology, then based on the current situation, it analyzes the efficiency of RDC warehouse in and out, picking process and recheck packaging efficiency and other links, and analyzes the problems in each link, mainly including low efficiency of in and out, unreasonable layout in the warehouse, obsolete equipment, low packaging efficiency.
