One method is to recruit words from general English. The transfer from a general word into a specialized one makes many English words polysemous. Like other ESP, words from this source make the bulk of Stock of Sports Terms. This method by which current sport English terms are shaped undergo two phases. 1 . Radiation of none-sports words To radiate the meaning of a word is to see a word broaden its meaning from a very tiny point onto a circle expanding itself continually. By this way, thousands of general English words find its way into Sport world.
