This paper aims to investigate the effect of chloride ions on the corrosion sensitivity of 304 stainless steel under different conditions through literature review and experimental research, and provide reference for solving related problems.Firstly, the alloy composition and material properties of 304 stainless steel, as well as the corrosion environment in circulating cooling water and the mechanism of chloride ions were introduced.
