However, the current GPS software receiver algorithms still have shortcomings and need to be optimized. This paper aims to study the optimization of GPS software receiver algorithms and explore their applications in geological exploration. The main work includes: analysis of the current GPS software receiver algorithm, proposal of improvement plan, design and implementation of improvement algorithm, analysis of the performance of improvement algorithm through simulation and experiment, and exploration of its application in geological exploration. It is expected that the research results can provide reference for the algorithm optimization of GPS software receivers, and expand the application of GPS technology in the field of geological exploration.【Keywords】GPS; software receiver; algorithm optimization; geological exploration
