Its incidence rate is ranked second among all malignant tumors in the world. T-cadherin (also known as H-cadherin) is a type of calcium-dependent adhesion protein, which is closely related to tumor metastasis and invasion. Previous studies have shown that T-cadherin expression level is decreased or even absent in some cancer tissues including gastric cancer. However, its specific role and mechanism in the progress of gastric cancer remain unclear. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the relationship between T-cadherin gene abnormal expression and malignant biological behavior and prognosis of gastric cancer.Methods:1. Sample collection: A total of 150 patients with confirmed gastric cancer who underwent surgical resection in our hospital from 2024 to 2024 will be enrolled, and their clinical data will be recorded in detail.2. Immunohistochemical staining: T-cadherin expression levels in gastric cancer tissues and adjacent normal tissues will be detected by immunohistochemical staining, and its relationship with clinicopathological features of gastric cancer will be analyzed.3.Real-time quantitative PCR and Western blot analysis: The mRNA and protein expression levels of T-cadherin in gastric cancer tissues and adjacent normal tissues will be detected and analyzed.精品文档---下载后可任意编辑4. Follow-up: Patients will be followed up for 5 years, and the relationship between T-cadherin gene abnormal expression and prognosis of gastric cancer will be analyzed.Expected results:We predict that T-cadherin expression will be decreased or even absent in gastric cancer tissues compared to adjacent normal tissues, and its expression level will be negatively correlated with the malignant biological behavior of gastric cancer. Furthermore, we expect that T-cadherin gene abnormal expression will be associated with the poor prognosis of gastric cancer patients. Conclusion:The study of T-cadherin gene abnormal expression and its relationship with malignant biological behavior and prognosis of gastric cancer may provide a new perspective for the diagnosis, treatment and prognosis evaluation of gastric cancer.
