However, the integration of ZnO with other materials is often hampered by differences in their lattice constants and potential interfacial defects. To overcome these challenges, heterostructures can be formed by sequentially growing ZnO thin films on substrates with suitable lattice constants. In addition, recent studies have shown that heterostructures made of topological insulators can further enhance the spin transport properties of ZnO-based devices.Objective:The main objective of this study is to investigate the properties of ZnO-based heterostructures and their potential applications in spin transport in topological insulators.
