In this paper, a research on the modular design and program-solving techniques and applications of a high-grade numerically controlled machining center is conducted. Firstly, the basic principles and development status of the numerically controlled machining center are introduced, and the main performance indicators and design requirements are analyzed. Then, a solution method for the design scheme of the numerically controlled machining center based on modular design is proposed. The method uses genetic algorithms and multi-objective optimization technology to solve the problem, and combines with specific engineering requirements. It can maximize the modularity and production efficiency of the system while meeting the performance and reliability requirements.
