Firstly, the physical and chemical properties, pharmacological and non-pharmacological effects of sevoflurane were introduced. Then the muscle relaxation effect of sevoflurane, gender differences of sevoflurane and the effect of muscle relaxants on gender were expounded. Based on human and animal experiments, literature review and experimental analysis were combined to explore the effect of sevoflurane on the muscle action of non-depolarizing muscle relaxants in patients of different genders. Finally, the importance of further studying the application value of sevoflurane muscle relaxants in patients of different genders and the necessity of developing personalized preparations were emphasized.【Keywords】Sevoflurane; Non-depolarizing muscle relaxants; Gender differences; Muscle action; Personalized preparations
