The Zarzaitine oilfield is one of the largest oilfields in Africa, mainly extracting oil and gas from the Lower Devonian F4 layer. The study of its sedimentary facies and facies modeling has important significance for exploring reservoir characteristics and guiding design and development plans.This paper introduces the geological and geomorphological characteristics of the Zarzaitine oilfield, the lithologic characteristics and sedimentary facies of the Lower Devonian F4 bed, and analyzes the sedimentary environmental factors that affect reservoir characteristics. In order to establish an accurate facies model, Krelingdorf statistical method and grey correlation analysis method are used to analyze factors such as lithology, reservoir type, and reservoir tightness coefficient to establish a facies model of the F4 bed.Keywords: Zarzaitine oilfield in Algeria; Lower Devonian F4 bed; sedimentary facies; facies modeling; Krelingdorf statistical method; grey correlation analysis method.
