(Chen, 2024; Li, 2024)Effective strategies for correcting errors in English writing include peer review, teacher feedback, online tools, and self-editing. Peer review allows students to receive feedback from their peers and learn from each other's mistakes. (Ghabanchi & Rabi, 2024) Teacher feedback is an essential strategy for improving students' writing ability, as it can provide targeted corrections and guidance. (Wang & Chen, 2024) Online tools, such as Grammarly, can assist students in identifying and correcting errors quickly. (Lu, 2024) Finally, self-editing can help students develop their critical thinking skills and improve their writing ability over time. (Edge, 2024)MethodologyThis study will employ a mixed-methods approach, using both quantitative and qualitative data. A total of 100 high school students from different schools will be selected for the study, and their English essays will be collected and analyzed for common errors. A survey will also be administered to gather data on students' attitudes towards English writing and their strategies for error correction.Furthermore, semi-structured interviews will be conducted with ten English teachers to gather insights into their teaching methods and strategies for error correction.
