The conventional method of phosphorus removal is chemical precipitation, but it has the disadvantages of low efficiency, difficult sludge sedimentation, and production of secondary pollution. Therefore, preparing a highly efficient and environmentally friendly flocculant has become an urgent need.This study aims to prepare an efficient flocculant for phosphorus removal and investigate its application in wastewater treatment. The flocculant will be synthesized by a simple and low-cost method, using natural polymers or inorganic compounds as raw materials. The performance of the flocculant will be evaluated by measuring the removal efficiency of phosphorus, residual turbidity, and settling velocity.In addition, the optimal conditions for the preparation of the flocculant and its application in actual wastewater treatment will be explored. The flocculant will be applied in simulated wastewater treatment experiments, and the performance will be compared with traditional chemical precipitation methods.
