Therefore, designing an efficient time domain equalizer has become an important part of the communication system design process. The biggest advantage of the time domain equalizer is that it can compensate for instantaneous time domain distortion, thereby improving the overall performance of the system.The purpose of this paper is to study the design method and implementation strategy of time domain equalizer in high-speed serial transmission system. First, the basics of serial transmission system are outlined, and the principles, structures and classifications of time-domain equalizers are described in detail. Secondly, the design process of time domain equalizer is elaborated in detail, including signal acquisition, signal processing, filter design and other aspects, while also taking into account practical issues such as attenuation and noise. Then, this paper will also conduct simulation experiments to compare the system performance under different design strategies, providing a reference for the design and optimization of high-speed serial transmission system time domain equalizers.Finally, this paper will propose future research directions and prospects.Keywords: High-speed serial transmission system, time domain equalizer, signal distortion, filter design
