No difficulty is experienced by the reader.Will Phones Kill Letter Writing?There seems to be a fashion nowadays, especially among the young people, to phone each other more often than write letters, which has been the traditional way of communication since the early part of human history. Nevertheless, I do not side with the idea that phones are going to kill letter writing.For one thing, as the main method of communication for most part of the history, letter-writing has a lot of advantages over the product of modern techology—the phone. Time-consuming as it may be, it conveys one’s feelings and emotions much more sincerely and completely than the phone does. The instant excitment caused by a call can never be in a position to rival the spontaneous joy when reading a letter from a devoted friend. For another, although the phone is being put into more frequent use, in many cases a formal or informal letter, rather than a short call, is required. For instance, nobody would consider it appropriate to invite a distinguished guest to a ceremony by simply giving him a call.
