Music is a very popular topic among students. In this unit, students learn to express preference with the relative clause。 And the first period is about listening and speaking。 It gives students much practice in speaking and listening on the target language。 It plays a very important role in the English teaching of this unit。 After studying the teaching material and the junior English teaching curriculum standard, I think the teaching objects are the followings:1. Knowledge objects:Vocabulary:Prefer, lyric Target language: What kind of music would you like? I like music that I can sing along with. What about you? I prefer music that has great lyrics。2。 Ability objects: 1。 Train the students’ listening skills。 2. Train the students’ communicative competence。3.Moral objects: Music is the language of the world.
