I北京理工大学珠海学院 2020 届本科生毕业论文The Development of E-commerce in Small and Medium-sized Production-oriented EnterprisesAbstractNowadays, the manufacturing industry in China is thriving, but many of them are small and medium-sized production enterprises, whose main businesses are to receive others’ orders and passively produce according to the orders. In general they need to serve many companies to earn some profit. E-commerce is certainly good for them, because they can gradually build up their own brands and ideally they can take the initiative of their business. However, many of them are unfamiliar with e-commerce so that the middlemen make more benefits than the producers. To some extent, it is unfair for the producers because the threshold to enter the e-commerce is not as high as it used to be.During my research I found some problems exist in the enterprises. They are how to prevent random price hikes, how to avoid competition with their own clients, how to choose a suitable e-commerce model, and how to run e-business. In response to these questions, I read a lot to learn about e-commerce platforms, models and rules. Then I analyze the characteristics of the enterprise so that they can choose the best way to enter e-commerce business. The conclusion is that content e-commerce is more suitable for small and medium-sized production enterprises.
