Madam Marie CurieMadam Marie Curie(1867-1934) ,the nationality is Poland ,study the radioactive phenomenon ,and discovered radium and polonium ,two kinds of the chemical element of radioactivity .She is the first person who gets two Nobel prizes .As a great scientist ,she has an wider effect in the society than other common sci entists .Particularly because she is the female pioneer who is succeed .Her experience encourages many people.Madam Marie Curie was born in a poor family .Both of her parents were teachers .When she was a child, she got strong interest in study, and she always got the good marks. But because she was very poor ,she had to work to earn the money for her further study .She went to the Parisian University with the money she earned .During the three years ,she successively got two degrees of physics and mathematics. In 1894 she met Mr. Curie.After they got married ,they went on studying the radioactive phenomenon .Because of working hard ,they finally found and knew the quality o f the new chemical element with Henry Becquerel .And in 1903 ,they got the Nobel prize of physics .Even though they got the prize ,they weren’t proud of themselves and went on working on science .But in 1906 Mr. Curie was dead in a traffic accident ,and Marie was still alive and working .She took over Mr. Curie’s jobs and went on studying all kinds of radioactive elements .At the same time ,she had to take care of the old Mr. Curie and her own daughter .In 1910 ,Madam Marie Curie finished a book ,the name of which was “The Monograph Of Radioactivity” .In the same year ,she together with Andre Debierne separated the pure metal of radium .And in 1911 she got the Nobel prize again .In 1914 the Parisian University set up a scientific institute for her .In the Curie Lab ,many people finis hed about 500 dissertations with the help of Madam Marie Curie .And she was very satisfied that her daughter and her daughter’s husband got a Nobel prize i n 1934 .In 1932 ,Madam Marie Curie went back to her motherland .And in 1933 , Madam Marie Curie died of illness .In her whole life ,s he spent her most time in studying the science .T hough she got many prizes in her life ,she still worked hard in the science .What a great scientist she is !What a great woman she is ! Although her life was hard, she didn’t give up the science .We should learn from her .Though we aren’t able to become a great scientist like her ,we should face our life like her .
