中文摘要“五四运动”之后，美术革命风头正兴。面对西方文化价值观的全面冲击，传统绘画日渐衰微。中国画坛乱象频生。此时有一批温和的渐进者，他们反对以写实主义的西画来改良中国画的主张，而是主张从中国画学的内部寻找革新的方法。而本文的研究对象周肇祥先生就是“时代中的逆行者”的典型人物，他一生跌宕起伏，社会身份多重，早期仕宦生涯不断受挫又不断得到赵尔巽、袁世凯、段祺瑞等诸多前辈的赏识与提携。中期投身文化事业，为反对“以西洋写实精神来革命中国画”，而与诸多志同道合者共同创办了以“精研古法、博采新知”为主旨的中国画学研究会，重振了画坛乱象、为北平大学艺术学院被改为专科的不公平待遇而抗争、为故宫古物南迁而抗争，一生为他所坚信的真理而奋斗。到了晚期周肇祥先生有了足够的时间适志游山、寻古访迹，留下了大量有研究价值的手稿与材料。本文采用了艺术文化学的研究方法：坚持“艺术文化域”的研究方法在共时的基础上把周肇祥先生的个体行为置于时代背景中来考量、坚持“艺术文化层”的研究方法将层次分析法引入研究过程、坚持“艺术文化史”的研究观念达到历史审阅的过程。通过对大量文献资料的整理、分析与比较，对民国时期北京地区传统画家周肇祥进行系统性的研究。通过对大量的历史细节的挖掘，归纳整理其生平略迹，从周肇祥先生的家世生平、仕途、艺学活动、艺术思想等四方面展开，以探究其背后的行为成因、思想表现、艺术影响等。关键词：周肇祥，传统派，中国画学研究会，艺术思想，京津画派AbstractAftertheMay4thMovement,therevolutioninfineartswasgainingmomentum.Facedwiththefullimpactofwesternculturalvalues,traditionalChinesepaintingwasdeclining.Chinesepaintingenteredachaoticstage.Atthistime,AgroupofChineseprogressivesopposedtheideaofimprovingChinesepaintingwithrealisticWesternpaintingstyle,instead,theyproposetofindinnovationfromwithintheChinesepainting.Mr.ZhouZhaoxiang,theobjectofthisarticle，istherepresentativecharacteroftheprogressiveswhowentagainstthecrowdatthetime.Hehasmanyupsanddownsinhislifewithmultiplesocialidentities,andhispoliticalcareerintheearlyyearshadbeenquiteafailurethoughhewasfavoredandpromotedbymanyofhisseniorssuchasZhaoErxun,YuanShikai,Duanqirui.Inhismidlife,hedevotedhimselftotheculturalcause.Inordertoopposethe"revolutionofChinesepaintingwiththeWesternrealism”,togetherwiththosewhocherishedthesameideals,hefoundedthe“ChinesePaintingResearchInstitute”focusingon“deeplyexaminingtheancientChinesepaintingwhilegatheringnewideas”,whichfixedthechaosinChinesepaintingcultureduringthattime.Hedevotedhislifeinfightingforthetruthhebelievedin.HefoughtagainstchangingPekingUniversity'sArtCollegetoajuniorcollegeandagainstthesouthwardrelocationoftheForbiddenCity.Inhislatelife,Mr.ZhouZhaoxiangusedhisleisuretimetotraveltothemountainsandsearchforancientsites,leavingalotofmanuscriptsandmaterialsofgreatresearchvalue.ThisarticledescribestheresultsfromasystematicstudyofthetraditionalBeijingpainterZhouZhaoxiangduringtheRepublicofChinaerathroughthecollation,analysisandcomparisonofalargenumberofdocumentsandmaterials.Thearticleismainlyconcernedaboutthefollowingfouraspects:ZhouZhaoxiang’sfamilylife,politicalcareer,artactivities,andartisticthoughts.Throughthecompilationofalargenumberofhistoricaldetailsandhisfamilylife,thecausesofhisbehavior,ideologicalexpression,artisticinfluence,etc..areexplored.Keywords:ZhouZhaoxiang,traditionalartist,ChinesePaintingResearchInstitute.目录中文摘要........................................................................................................................IAbstract................................................
