Galectin-3 and MMP-9 are two molecules closely related to tumor metastasis and invasion. This study aims to explore the expression and correlation of Galectin-3 and MMP-9 in epithelial ovarian cancer.Method: 60 specimens of tumorous tissues and corresponding normal ovarian tissues were collected from patients with epithelial ovarian cancer. The expression of Galectin-3 and MMP-9 was detected by immunohistochemistry, and correlation analysis was conducted.Expected results: This study is expected to find that Galectin-3 and MMP-9 are highly expressed in epithelial ovarian cancer, and there may be a correlation between the two molecules.
