Therefore, studying the biomarkers of early diagnosis of ovarian cancer is of great significance to improve the early detection rate and treatment effect of ovarian cancer. At present, many studies have shown that methylation is an important mechanism in the development of ovarian cancer, and the methylation of HIC1 and HOXA9 gene promoters are important in the early diagnosis of ovarian cancer.This article will introduce the significance of HIC1 and HOXA9 gene promoter methylation in early diagnosis of ovarian cancer.Keywords: ovarian cancer; HIC1; HOXA9; methylation; early diagnosis
