The aim of this study was to investigate the expression of MKK4 gene in laryngeal carcinoma and its clinical significance. Real-time fluorescent quantitative PCR and immunohistochemistry were used to detect the expression of MKK4 gene in laryngeal carcinoma tissues and control tissues, and to analyze the relationship between its expression and clinical pathological factors. The results showed that the expression level of MKK4 gene in laryngeal carcinoma tissues was significantly lower than that in control tissues, and was negatively correlated with clinical pathological factors such as lymph node metastasis and TNM stage. In conclusion, MKK4 gene plays an important role in the occurrence and development of laryngeal carcinoma, and may become a potential therapeutic target for this disease.Keywords: MKK4 gene; laryngeal carcinoma; expression detection; clinical significance.
