However, short-term trading is highly risky and requires investors to have higher investment skills and market sensitivity. This article analyzes the institutional issues of short-term trading, mainly from the definition, characteristics and its impact on the stock market. The existing regulatory system for short-term trading is analyzed, and its problems and limitations are summarized. Based on domestic and foreign cases, this paper proposes suggestions to improve the regulatory system for short-term trading, including improving market infrastructure, strengthening information disclosure, and increasing punishment. Through this study, it aims to provide useful suggestions for improving the existing regulatory system for short-term trading.Keywords: short-term trading; institutional issues; stock market impact; regulatory system; improvement suggestions
