However, research on narrative inquiry in English as a foreign language (EFL) teaching is still limited, and little evidence-based guidance is available for EFL teachers who want to introduce narrative inquiry into their teaching practices. As an EFL teacher and researcher, I am interested in exploring narrative inquiry as a tool for language learning and as a form of professional development for myself.Objectives:This study aims to:1) Explore the effectiveness of narrative inquiry as a tool for EFL teaching and learning.2) Understand the impact of narrative inquiry on my professional development as an EFL teacher.3) Provide evidence-based guidance for other EFL teachers who want to use narrative inquiry in their teaching practices.Methodology:This study will use a narrative inquiry approach, which involves collecting personal stories and reflections from both myself and my students. The study will be conducted in a series of four classes, where I will introduce narrative inquiry as a teaching tool and guide my students in conducting their own inquiry projects.
