The biological activity of gold nanorods is related to their shape, size, surface properties, etc. Therefore, controlling their surface properties will be an effective method to control their interaction with cells.This paper focuses on the regulation of cell activity by gold nanorods with different properties, and explores their potential applications in cancer treatment. Firstly, the preparation methods and surface modification techniques of gold nanorods will be introduced. Then, cell viability, proliferation, and apoptosis will be examined by contact experiments between gold nanorods with different properties and different types of cells.Through experiments, we will explore the influence of gold nanorods' shape, size, surface modification, and other factors on cell activity.
