The aim of this study was to isolate and purify laccase from two strains of white-rot fungi and to investigate their ability to degrade fungicides. By screening and optimizing the culture conditions of the two strains of white-rot fungi, a high-yield laccase-producing strain was obtained. Subsequently, laccase was isolated and purified using ion exchange chromatography, gel filtration chromatography, and dialysis. After purification, the laccase had high enzyme activity and purity, as determined by enzyme activity measurement. Further experimental results showed that the laccases from the two strains of white-rot fungi were able to effectively degrade fungicides, suggesting that they may play an important role in the degradation of cellulose. This study provides an experimental basis for a deeper understanding of the molecular mechanisms of white-rot fungi and related enzymes.Keywords: white-rot fungi; laccase; isolation and purification; fungicide; degradation
