It has advantages such as global optimization, adaptivity and robustness, and is widely used in many fields. This paper aims to explore the basic principles, improvement methods and applications of artificial bee colony algorithm in multiple fields, and propose the research direction based on it.Firstly, this paper introduces the basic principle of artificial bee colony algorithm, including search mechanism and update strategy, etc. Then, several common improvement methods are introduced, such as improved search mechanism and algorithm parameter adjustment. Afterwards, the applications of artificial bee colony algorithm in multiple fields are discussed, such as optimization problems, data mining, image processing, etc.Finally, this paper proposes my research direction, intelligent positioning and tracking system based on artificial bee colony algorithm.
