PCC 6803 (hereafter Anabaena 6803) is a common cyanobacterium with important applications in H2 production, biofuels, and biomass. This paper mainly focuses on the identification, regulation, and function of NADPH dehydrogenase (NDH) supercomplex in Anabaena 6803. Firstly, the relevant knowledge and characteristics of NDH supercomplex are introduced, and then the cultivation conditions and experimental methods of Anabaena 6803 are described. Subsequently, the identification method and regulation mechanism of NDH supercomplex are explained in detail, including enzyme activity-based identification method and proteomic-based regulation mechanism research. Finally, this paper focuses on the function and application value of NDH supercomplex, including its important role in biological processes such as photosynthesis and cell respiration, and the application prospect in hydrogen production and biomass production.Keywords: Anabaena sp.
