It has been found that the time process of color perception and motion perception is related to the signal transmission of the retina. The time process of color perception is affected by spectral composition, brightness, and contrast, with red and blue transmission being slower. The time process of motion perception is influenced by the speed and direction of movement, and faster movement speeds can lead to time illusions.
